On a sunny day
in Miami, Florida in January 1969, Karen Sue Laszlo was born to Phyllis and
Maurice Laszlo, M.D. She was raised in Miami with her brothers, Michael & Andy,
and a poodle named Ozzie. Karen attended Ransom Everglades School in
Coconut Grove, completed her undergraduate studies at Emory University
in Atlanta, Georgia and received her M.D. from the University of
Miami School of Medicine. During her dermatology residency at The
University of South Florida, Karen married Robert Keller. In
January 1999, Karen and Rob followed their hearts to the San
Francisco Bay Area, where Rob is a financial consultant and Karen is a
full-time dermatologist (www.peninsuladermatology.com) in Burlingame,
California. In January 2001, Joshua was born and in June 2004, his brother
William was born. In addition to spending quality time with her family
and friends, Karen enjoys reading, writing, hiking and skiing. |
